I am alive

I Am Alive is a survival horror video game developed by Ubisoft Shanghai and published by Ubisoft. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting and focuses on facing the permanent insecurity of a dystopian, decaying and hazardous world, and humanity's darkest inclinations towards brutality and materialism. Originally under development by Darkworks from 2005 until 2007, Ubisoft Shanghai completed the title. It was released for Xbox Live Arcade on March 7, 2012, for PlayStation Network on April 3, 2012 in North America and April 4, 2012 in Europe and also for Microsoft Windowson September 6, 2012.

Gameplay

The player controls the main character from a third person perspective during navigation, the camera switches to first-person when aiming and shooting. During encounters with hostile survivors, the player can use various tactics to stay alive, including sneaking to surprise enemies with a machete quick kill, performing stealth kills with a bow, or using bluff and intimidation e.g. pointing an empty gun at hostile non-player characters.

The game has an emphasis on climbing and exploration. The player will scale wrecked buildings and navigate hazardous areas. Every effort has a cost and, when engaging in physically demanding activities, such as climbing or jumping, it is critical to manage the main character's stamina for him to survive. By managing stamina skillfully players are rewarded by accessing hidden paths, resources and other survivors.

Gameplay also involves collecting hidden resources and supplies scattered throughout the city: water, food, batteries, gas, medicine, cigarettes, tools, climbing gear, weapons, and ammunition. Anything that the player can salvage from the destroyed city can be used to keep the main characters strong and healthy, or prove helpful in his quest by allowing him to rescue survivors. Retries can be collected throughout the game by helping or rescuing people, with optional side quests to complete.

Gameplay

Dragon Nest incorporates non-targeting system gameplay to create a fast paced action filled experience. Players choose from a range of hero classes, characters that are of the Dragon Nest storyline that can equip customizable gear and weapons. Characters exist in worlds. These characters cannot interact with one another, with the exception of mailing each other. Devastating skills can also be learned, to increase one's power when defeating monsters in instanced dungeons or defeating other players in PVP.

Dragon Nest also has the advantage of being nearly completely skill based, with lower level characters being able to defeat high level characters in PVP with skill alone. This allows a more experienced player that is of a lower level to dominate a less experienced player of a higher level player in PVP.

Blackshot Overview

Black Shot is TwoWar’s very own 3D Tactical MMOFPS. It seems like every single big MMO publisher wants to have their very own tactical MMOFPS game these days, but unfortunately even though there are many of these tactical shooter games, they’re all far too similar. The game features several interesting features, such as its cooperative PvE game mode as well as its skill system, but those that have played Nexon’s Combat Arms, Aeria’s WolfTeam or any other MMOFPS shouldn’t be too impressed with BlackShot, as the game doesn’t bring anything too new to the table.

Multiple sources have told IGN that Sony originally planned to launch the PlayStation 4 at $500.

However, in the months leading up to E3, Sony reportedly abandoned plans to include a PlayStation Eye camera with every unit, thus bringing the price down to$400--a full $100 below Microsoft's Xbox One.

Sony did this quietly, the sources said, telling retail partners only about the removal of the camera and not mentioning the lower price to keep Microsoft in the dark.

PlayStation Eye cameras will be sold separately for $60.

By comparison, every $500 Xbox One unit will include a Kinect 2.0 camera. Microsoft has touted the new Kinect as an integral component of the Xbox One, unlike the Xbox 360 scenario, where the Kinect is an optional accessory.

A Sony representative was not immediately available to comment.
